HOW IT STARTED
Born from a Passion for Visual Storytelling
Firefly Technologies didn’t start in a boardroom – it started with a camera, a love for Scotland’s landscapes, and a frustration with photography that only ever captured part of the picture. Our founder spent years working in photography and videography, watching moments get compressed into single frames that couldn’t do justice to the scale, the atmosphere or the emotion of what was actually there. Standard photography is powerful – but it has edges.
Panoramic photography doesn’t.
That insight became the foundation of Firefly Technologies: a studio dedicated to immersive, wide-perspective visual storytelling that gives you the full picture, every time. Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a one-person operation into an experienced professional team – but we’ve never lost the curiosity and passion that started it all. .
